About Balingsta
Balingsta is a Nordic ski apparel company from Sweden. The idea was born because we simple grew tired of what was on the market. We couldn't find one single thing that was inline with the sport we all love. So we took the matter in our own hands and started making clothes that we wanted to wear ourselves. We don't know anything about manufacturing or the clothing industry, but we all know that Nordic Skiing deserves something better. Something way better. 

Our philosophy
It’s pretty simple actually, we try to make the best Nordic Ski Apparel on the market. Easier said than done maybe. Besides all the thinking and hard work that goes in to our design, we also try our best to create a brand for the future. That means trying to working with suppliers with an environmental friendly approach to the industry, choosing factories close to Stockholm and use durable materials in a large extent. We also try to design our clothes as timeless as possible, make them compatible with several sports and not depend on seasonal sales and large editions. 
We promise that we will try our best to protect the winter we all love - every single day and with every decision we make.
Where is Balingsta produced?
Our products are produced in various factory’s in Sweden, Europe and Asia. We always strive to find partners that share our philosophy and have a circular approach. 

How are the sizing?
Our sizes range from Small to Large. And if you have any concerns regarding specific measuring, feel free to send us an email help@balingsta.com 

How do I best take care of my Balingsta apparel?
It depends what material your specific product is made of. Please read the washing instructions on your garment. 

Where can I buy Balingsta?
Balingsta can only be bought via our website. It is a way for us to have full control of the experience of Balingsta and a way to be closer to the customer.
The website isn’t working, what do I do?
If your shopping experience on our website isn’t working properly, feel free to try to change the browser or reload the website. If none of that is working, please contact us on help@balingsta.com

Ordering
The item seems to be out of stock. What do I do?
If the item is out of stock please contact us at help@balingsta.com and we will try to give you information on when it will get back in stock.

I did not get an order confirmation?
If you did not receive an order confirmation please send us an email at help@balingsta.com so we can double check and provide you with your order confirmation information.

Can I change my mind?
If you realize you want to change your order after placing it, please contact us on help@balingsta.com as soon as possible so we can change the order before we package your order. We cannot guarantee that the change will be possible, but we will do our very best to help you out.

Can I cancel my order?
If you want to cancel your order you need to contact us as soon as possible on help@balingsta.com and we will help you out. We have a return policy of 14 days.

Payment

Is it safe to order from you?

It is very important that our customers feel safe ordering from us. For your safety, we don’t process any payment information, and only work with the leading payment providers PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, AMEX, Visa and Mastercard to handle all payments.


And how do I pay?

At the checkout you have different options depending on what country you are ordering from. Customers in Scandinavia, the UK and Germany have the possibility to pay through Klarna, where you can choose a range of different payment methods, for example invoice is one of them. All our customers have access to purchasing through Paypal, where you can either pay directly in your account or check out as a guest with your credit card details.


Delivery

What is your delivery policy?

All countries within the European Union are shipped on DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, meaning that taxes and duties are included in the final price. For countries outside of the EU the orders are shipped with DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) meaning you may be liable to pay tax upon receiving your package.

When will I receive my Balingsta items?

If nothing unexpected happens, this is a estimation on the delivery time.

Norway: 2-6 business days

UK: 3-6 business days

EU: 3-7 business days

US and Canada: 3-8 business days

How can I track my order?

Once your order ships from our warehouse, you will receive an email with tracking information to the chosen shipping company.

 

My order is lost, what do I do?

We aim for all packages to have a safe journey to you, but despite this packages can get lost on the way. If you suspect this has happened to you, please contact us at help@balingsta.com and we will help you track the package and help you with a replacement order.

 

I received a defective item. What do I do?

We aim for a zero tolerance to faulty items being sent out. If this would ever happen, Please contact us directly at help@balingsta.com and we will drop everything we’re doing to help you with reclamation or compensate you in the best possible way.

Returns

Where do I send my return?

If you wish to make a return, please contact us at help@balingsta.com and we will provide you with all the details you need.

What is your return policy?

We have a return policy of 14 days after receiving the package. We offer free returns. Shipping costs related to the original order of the returned products will not be refunded. If a replacement product is to be sent out, We will cover the shipping cost for this product. After having received your return, you will be refunded as soon as possible.  

When will I receive my refund?

We aim to refund you as soon as we receive your return, but the very latest within 30 days after having received the return.
